Sounds and Letters Book 2
Sixteen More Belizean Stories
Authors: Education Task Force
Paperback: 36 pages
First Edition: February 2017
Size: 7″ x 9″
This is the second of a four-book series of storybooks to help young children recognize individual sound and letter combinations and begin to blend them together to read words.
Following on from book 1, each of the next fifteen sounds is accompanied by a short story and a colourful illustration by Belizean artist Sean Gibson. Most of the stories have a Belizean setting and some will encourage children to think about other countries and use their imagination. An additional story brings together most of the targeted sounds. We hope children, families and teachers will enjoy these stories.
